Introducing Flickr, now with 700% more language goodness

Our favorite photo sharing service, Flickr, will soon make its site available in seven different languages (French, German, Korean, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and traditional Chinese), with a separate Japanese site and other language-related developments on the way. My favorite part:

“Why are we only getting around to this now?” [Stewart Butterfield, co-founder of Flickr] asked self-mockingly. “There are two answers. One: we are stupid. Two: that we are late.”
