Managing a team of workers or employees can be tough, especially if you try to coordinate student employees in a language center. There are so many little tasks, how do we keep everyone on track? How can we delegate all those little tasks without creating more work. Sometimes delegating can take longer than doing a task yourself. E-mail is a terrible way of delegating tasks, and or forms, such as sticky notes or people’s memories often get lost.
Today we will talk about how to divvy up tasks, how to delegate, and how we can do this in an efficient manner. Of course we’ll also talk about tools. Here at the LLC at Rhodes College we have been using Asana for a while now and are very happy with it.
We hope you can join us and talk about your experiences and thoughts.
I am looking forward to this conversation, Felix.
I spent 45 minutes yesterday leaving paper notes for the evening student staff and as I sit here at home preparing my day I have no idea if that was accomplished, and whether my morning schedule will be altered (unfavorably) as a result. Blarrrgh.
Thank you for hosting this topic!
