(goodness me, two posts in one night?…is it a full moon?)
Okay, I will be frank. The configuration of this site is bugging me. We have some great stuff in here but, much like my harddrive (Erin: no comment) you can’t find stuff. Or there is stuff on top of stuff. Big stuff squishing little stuff.
We have several langtech people blogging here (Barbara, Erin, Felix and “yournamehere”), we have webcasts, we have podcasts, we know aout some really cool stuff that our lang fac are doing (and we would like to highlight that as well as what other people’s lang facs are doing as well —is facs the plural of fac by the way?—), we have many different threads/streams of consciousness/ authoring voices going on here, and yet it is all so…so…linear. Ewwww.
We are taking suggestions. Anyone have any ideas on how best to present all of this info in a more user-friendly, less linear, multi-modal/vocal kinda way?
(PS Too bad kitties…The dog stays)
