Baseball bloggers

It’s October, and while some of the LLU contributors’ thoughts turn to college football or Oktoberfest (or both), this LLU contributor is obsessed, yes, with the MLB Playoffs.

We all heard the story of Mark Cuban (yes I know it’s that other sport…basketball) being fined for not only what he did on the field court but what he did on his blog. But now I discover that some of my baseball buddies are blogging too. Very interesting, indeed.

Curt Schilling has been blogging for a while. People who follow Curt know that Curt, um, needs to talk, so blogging is a good thing for Curt.

MLB.com is providing typepad blogs via this site for any baseball player or mascot or just plain fan that wants to be heard (wonder what they are saying about that last play of the Rockies game, eh?)

Some examples:
Ryan Garko’s blog
Tommy Lasorda’s blog,
Kevin (Yooouuukkkk) Youkalis’ blog,
Wally the Green Monster’s blog,
Raymond, the mascot of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays’ blog
